Results are estimates

The calculators on GradeAnchor give estimates based on common US grading rules and the numbers you enter. They are meant to help you plan and understand your grades, not to replace your official grades.

Your school’s rules come first

Schools and instructors handle grades in different ways, for example:

  • Rounding, such as whether 89.5% counts as an A.
  • Weights for each category, and whether they change during the term.
  • Curves, dropped lowest scores and extra credit.
  • A+ values, weighted GPA bonuses for Honors and AP classes, and repeated courses.

Always check important results with your syllabus, your instructor or your school’s registrar.

Not academic or admissions advice

Nothing on GradeAnchor is academic, admissions or financial advice. Decisions about courses, applications or scholarships should be based on information from your school or the organization involved.

No affiliation

GradeAnchor is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any school, college, the College Board, the IB, or the makers of any product mentioned on this site, such as paper grading charts. Names of other products belong to their owners.
